Volcan Winery

The last item on the agenda was the Volcan Winery where we visited a brilliant underground wine museum made up of all sorts of historical events concerning the establishment of wine on the island; tourism and wine now make up most of the island’s economy.

We had an opportunity to do some tasting but declined to buy any of the three wines on offer. Two English women beside us emptied each of their tastings so I guess they weren’t impressed with what was on offer!
