Lunch stop

The autobahn is well served with parking stops where you can pull over, have lunch, use a toilet etc. Some have petrol stations and food outlets similar to the UK. We chose to buy food at supermarkets and make our own picnic lunches when we were ready to do so. Here I am enjoying my meat and cheese roll.

The second photo shows a truck re-entering the flow of traffic. Some re-entry places actually have merging lanes which makes re-entry much easier and safer – not so here!
