Madison and preschool

We slept so soundly that we missed the trip to Madison’s pre-school session next morning. However we made up for that later when we accompanied Jane to meet her. We went via a hill walk to a look out over the village of Weggis – again, another brilliant picture postcard scene.
Upon reaching the village we had time to watch and listen to a summer quartet as they prepared to give a free concert; this is a council sponsored event for the summer. The group plays each day of the week 11 – 12 and draws really good crowds. The setting was superb with the concert taking place under cover. With colourful hanging baskets, fairytale houses and the lake and Alps as a back drop, what more could you want? And it’s all free!
