Canal cruise

A canal cruise was another ‘must do’. We took a one hour guided/commentary cruise to give us some insights into the canals of Amsterdam and are glad we did. Viewing Amsterdam from a boat is something I would recommend.

Canal cruising is peaceful and you see the street from a spectator perspective or in some cases, from the opposite view you would have if you were walking or riding in a bus.
